On the Water with Jackson Kayak
I’ve had the opportunity to work with Bridgett from Jackson Kayak to create on the water imagery that feels real and not staged. These photographs were captured on Center Hill Lake, focusing on the genuine moments of fishing from a Jackson kayak.
For this project, the goal was simple: show what kayak fishing actually feels like. We leaned into atmosphere, detail, and story instead of traditional “grip & grin” shots. Every image in this gallery was created for Jackson Kayak and is shared here for portfolio and self-promotion purposes with permission and proper credit.
My approach with Jackson Kayak was to work the way I always do on the water: keep things natural, move with the light, and stay out of the way so real moments can happen. From wide scenes that show the kayaks in their environment to close-up details, this collection is all about authentic kayak life.
